Welcome to Legend-2010

THE Legend 2010 series is a major initiative towards communication and taking media discovered all over the country. Updating the innovative skills in technological level and in creative fields. The main objective of this event is to create media professionals who will be rightly equipped to meet the growing demands of the media industry.

Legend 2007 was commenced on 24th Jan 2007. Eminent personalities like Mr.Balu mahendra(Film Director) who shared his views on "New trends in tamil cinema". And Mr. Hariharan (director of Prasad film and Tv academy) spoke about "New sensation in Indian Cinema".

Legend 2008 was conducted in the same fashion with eminent persons like Mr.Pradeep Milroy Peter (Head programming, STAR VIJAY TV ) who expressed his views on how to make creative television Programmes. Mr. Yuhisethu (Actor) presented a seminar on the topic script writing and gave some valuable suggestion, for those who were interested in film making. Mr Venkat Prabhu (Actor/ Film maker) spoke about commercial film making by quoting examples from his own films. Mr.Vasanth (Film Director) shared his views about the portrayal of women in Indian Cinema. And also Ms. Rohini (Actress) spoke about the making of documentary film and she gave her overview about her documentary "Silence of Hues".

Legend 2009 was conducted on July 24th eminent personalities like Mr.A.R. Murugadoss (Film Director), who stated his views on how to make history in cinema and also shared his experience with us. Mr.P.Samudrakani (Film director) expressed his thoughts on commercial film making and had an interactive session with the audience and Mr. K.V. Anand (Cinematographer) shared his experiences and interacted with students about the techniques of cinematography.
